Come and discover the world of handstands with artist Manuele D’Aquino, a professional handbalancer and teacher at the London School of Handbalance and the National Centre for Circus Arts in London.
\nManuele will offer two handstand workshops for both beginners and those already familiar with handstanding.<\/p>\n
Beginners workshop TUESDAY, JUNE 10, 8:00 PM-9:45 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n This workshop is dedicated to everyone who wants to learn or is at the beginning of their handstand journey. The main focus will be on understanding and building the necessary foundations, working with a specific technique from the circus world, using targeted exercises to develop strength, flexibility, and body alignment. The work will combine wall handstands and floor exercises, starting with a full warm-up, flexibility, and conditioning exercises, while providing different options so that various levels and abilities can work together, with continuous support and feedback from the teacher. <\/p>\n Intermediate workshop WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11, 8:00 PM- 9:45 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n This workshop is perfect for those who are already able to work in a handstand but feel stuck, or simply those who want to progress in their practice. Always working with a purely technical approach, the main focus of this workshop will be on developing awareness and skills regarding alignment and balance, using different handstand positions (straight legs together, tucked, straddle). The work will be done in pairs, helping each other with continuous support and feedback from the teacher. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
