Martina Verbeni



Founded and directed by Martina Verbeni, a former professional dancer with extensive experience in the dance world, Levante Yoga Flow combines the art of movement with the depth of yoga, in a fluid and harmonious approach. Alongside this softer and more expressive dimension, we also work on the body in an intense and targeted way, with practices aimed at physical enhancement and strength building, essential to sustaining a balanced and comprehensive practice.

Martina has danced in the world’s largest theaters and the most prestigious international companies, an experience that has allowed her to develop a deep knowledge of the body and movement.
After her career as a dancer ended, Martina felt the need to find a practice that would allow her to continue cultivating her love of movement, but which would also be a refuge from the frenetic pace of everyday life. This is how she approached yoga, discovering in asanas not only a new form of bodily expression, but also a precious space of presence, listening, and silence. That discovery became a profound journey, leading her to embrace yoga as a tool for balance and transformation.

Martina trained at the prestigious Yoga Union school in Bali and continues to deepen her practice and teaching by participating in training and workshops throughout Italy, keeping alive the curiosity and energy that distinguish her.

Bali, the spiritual heart of Indonesia, is a place deeply connected to the practice of yoga and inner search where Martina was able to live a transformative experience, which profoundly influenced her way of understanding and transmitting yoga.

As part of an ever-evolving journey, Martina has also dedicated herself with particular care to prenatal and postnatal yoga.

After experiencing her pregnancy in 2023, she chose to delve deeper into this wonderful phase of life through study, practice, and specific training, earning certification to teach yoga to pregnant women. The journey led her to discover how much yoga can become a fundamental tool during pregnancy and in the aftermath: to keep the body active and strong, to improve breathing to relieve tension and physical discomfort, but above all to cultivate a deep and conscious listening to oneself and to the new life that grows within. Its dedicated classes are a protected and welcoming space, where expectant mothers can move gently, breathe, relax and feel supported.

In just three years, the center has won the hearts of countless students, reaching sold-out classes and creating a vibrant, passionate, and devoted community.
Thanks to growing participation, Levante Yoga Flow today can count on a team of qualified teachers who support Martina with professionalism and dedication:

Martina Verbeni

Martina Verbeni began studying classical ballet at a very young age. From the age of 11, she started participating in numerous international competitions, achieving excellent results.
In 2005, she won first prize at the Civitanova Danza International Competition, organized by the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, earning a merit-based scholarship to attend the school.
After two years in Milan, Martina auditioned for the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart, one of the most prestigious dance schools in the world. She attended the school for three years and graduated in 2010 with top honours as a professional dancer.
She was then offered a contract with one of the most important companies in the world, the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam, where she danced for five years, performing numerous roles from both classical and contemporary repertoires.
The company gave her the opportunity to perform on stages all over the world, from China to the United States.
Over the following years, she was offered numerous contracts with various European companies, collaborating with renowned choreographers and further enriching her professional experience.
Since 2021, Martina has chosen to continue her career as a freelance dancer. Her long experience as a dancer and her passion for physical and mental well-being brought her closer to the world of yoga. Her high-level training informed her choice of essential texts, allowing her to approach this practice with rigor and professionalism.
Following a year and a half of theoretical and practical studies, her pursuit of deeper knowledge brought her to Bali, home to one of the world’s most prestigious teacher training schools: Yoga Union.
She graduated, qualifying as a yoga instructor and earning certification from the Yoga Alliance foundation with top marks.
Upon returning to Italy, she founded Levante Yoga Flow, an association aimed at bringing people closer to the various forms of yoga and to a deeper understanding of this discipline, along with the physical and mental benefits it provides.
