Rocket Yoga
Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and stimulating style created in the 1980s by Larry Schultz, a direct student of Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga. Rocket is a modern reinterpretation of the Ashtanga series, made more accessible and playful while maintaining its transformative power and physical intensity.
The name “Rocket” reflects how this practice “lifts you up” quickly—both physically and spiritually. It is a perfect blend of discipline and freedom, structure and creativity.
Le sequenze sono *fluide, energiche, ma adattabili a ogni livello*, e includono asana di equilibrio sulle mani, inversioni, backbends, ma anche momenti di ascolto e respiro profondo.
Sequences are fluid, energetic, and adaptable to all levels, including arm balances, inversions, backbends, as well as moments of deep listening and breath awareness.
What makes Rocket Yoga unique is its philosophy: there is no competition, no “right or wrong.” Each practitioner is invited to explore poses according to their own possibilities, with courage, lightness, and openness.
It challenges the body while freeing the mind, building strength and flexibility, and above all, awareness and presence.
Rocket Yoga is a journey that reminds you that transformation lies not in the destination, but in the process —
and that even in the most intense moments, you can always choose to breathe, slow down, and begin again.
