Christiane Terrone

I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. My yoga journey began in 2000 as a student of Swami Nirmal in London. I practiced with various teachers in different centers in London before meeting Alexa Kho, an Anusara teacher, and in January 2011, I enrolled in the 200-hour Vinyasa Flow course with Rebecca French (a student of Larry Schultz) at her school, YogaLondon. The course had been a dream of mine since I was 18, and it was finally coming true. This course completely changed my life.

My passion and insatiable hunger for this discipline grew quickly, leading me to participate in several workshops held by Stewart Gilchrist, Shiva Rea, John Scott, and Danny

Paradise, and Sharath Jois. Meeting these teachers was an important experience for my yoga journey—a growth in physical ability, knowledge, and understanding of the practice, but above all, more awareness and proprioception of my body and which style I actually liked most.

After living in London for eleven years, I moved to Milan to turn my life upside down and completely change careers. From film advertising to full-time yoga teacher.

Milan is where my love for Ashtanga yoga grew and deepened; practicing regularly (6 out of 7 days) at Lino Miele’s school, I participated in the major Sharath Jois event in Milan and practiced with Kino McGregor. These experiences culminated in a long-awaited trip to India, taking part in the 200-hour teacher training course with Yogi Kamal Singh at

“Tattvaa Yogashala” in Rishikesh. At the end of the course, my journey around India led me to practice with several renowned teachers, including Shri V. Sheshadri in Mysore and with Rolf and Marci

Naujokat in Goa.

I have had the pleasure and great honor of attending workshops with Eddie Stern, Chuck Miller, David Swenson, Meghan Currie, Shana Mayerson, M S Viswanath (Masterji), Ramesh Sheety, Day Christensen, Vinay Kumar, Celest Pereira, Ambra Vallo, Tamara Campos, Carmen Aguilar, Petri Räsäinen, Patrick Beach, Talia Sutra, Hiro Landazuri (Action Hiro), Daniel Rama, and Tiago Rocha.

Through Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga, my love for dynamic yoga styles grew, naturally leading me to discover the world of Rocket Yoga. I have (to date) taken part in 11 teacher training courses with David C Kyle, becoming a Level 3 Rocket Yoga Teacher and Rocket Mentor, and since

2020, a Facilitator and Trainer, holding my Rocket Yoga training courses entirely in Italian.

My exploration and love for yoga in all its forms continues with regular trips to India, where I practice with Vijay (Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga) and Vinay (Pranayama) Kumar.

At the end of 2019, I met the person who is now my Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher, Marcello

Leoni, who accompanies me in my exploration of Advanced Series A.
